Sporting Clays at TSC

   At the present time we have one sporting clay course of  50 targets from 8 stations.  Easily accessible by car with an ample parking area just 30 yards from station 1. 

Plans are being developed for an additional course with the hope of bringing it online by spring/summer of 2011.

Our present course could be best described as moderate to challenging in target presentations. 

There are no especially hard shots if the shooter is adept at reading flight path and adjusting target lead. Every target is shootable. This is the kind of course where your score will improve the more you shoot it. None of our machines are automatic and require a trapper to release the targets. 

Course hours are from 9 am - 4 pm on Sat. and Sun. Member fee is $10.00, non-member fee is $15.00. Squad size is usually 5 shooters but we will accommodate larger or smaller groups.   

Terrain is relatively flat and dry, good mix of wide open and wooded backdrop. 

We can accommodate corporate, group, and fund raising events. 

The best gun to use would be either a semi-auto or an over/under shotgun in 12 ga. or 20 ga., Improved Cylinder or Skeet choke.

PLEASE NOTE: Personal/group instruction for the first time shooter/shooters on how the game is played is always available free of charge but require advance notice.
